Stuff I’m Into: Winter Essentials

Here’s the Stuff I’m Into lately for winter:

A warm cozy scarf.  I have bought way too many scarves this fall and winter, but this dusty pink one is my most recent favorite.

Moisturizers.  I use a variety of hand creams, but L’Occitane’s shea butter hand cream has been my favorite for years and it is a favorite weapon in my on-going war against dry skin.

Dark polish and statement baubles.  I love to sport dark nail polishes, especially during the winter so I treated myself to Chanel’s Vamp nail color (sadly they don’t sell this color any more so I guess I’ll have to enjoy it while it lasts).  I also like to sport some statement jewelry pieces, like this pearl bracelet.

Lips.  Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize and scrub, including your lips.  Lately, I’m obsessed with Eos lip balm.  The balm is shaped like a half of a sphere.  I’d show you by mine is oddly shaped now from having used it so much.  I use a variety of body scrubs, but those would be weird on your lips.  Fortunately someone makes a scrub just for your lips.  I didn’t even know that I needed one until I started using it last year and I’m still in love with Bliss’ Fabulips sugar lip scrub.

What are your winter essentials?

Ciao for now!

I am definitely getting the Shea butter hand cream. My finger tips get so dry they can split open so I usually soak them in olive oil a few times a week for relief.
The only way I can describe my lips in the winter is “raw”. I use medicated blistex but I still have the dead skin hanging (very attractive) so I NEED that fabulips sugar lip scrub!
Thank you so much for posting your list.

  2. Ha! I also bought a dusty pink scarf and it’s seriously a go-to of mine now! That one is sooo pretty!
