Fall Beauty Refresh

Happy Friday!  I’ve shared some of my beauty favorites with you and I thought I’d give you an update on what I’m currently using.  The timing is perfect because it’s fun to refresh your look for the upcoming season.

Most of my routine has changed, with the exception of the Aveeno moisturizer and Smashbox primer which have been my go-to products for years.  I mix the moisturize with the Farsali Rose Gold Elixir oil.

The Armani luminous silk foundation is my newest favorite beauty product.  It’s a little pricey but a little goes a long way so it will last a long time.  Plus, I think it’s worth the investment because it’s literally the foundation for the rest of your products so you want it to be good.

This one feels light on my face, which is fantastic because I don’t like heavy foundations (or anything else heavy feeling on my face for that matter).  Even better, it stays smooth all day long and does not cake or crease.  #somuchwinning

I also use the Tarte Maracuja creaseless concealer for those spots that need extra attention on my face.

I’ve heard a lot of people talking about Charlotte Tilbury so when I saw that she came out with this pallete I knew I had to try it.  This is a one stop shop for eye shadow, bronzer, blush, and highlighter and I love all of them.  If you like a natural look then you will love it too.  Plus, the parts of the kit are numbered and that makes it feel fun and convenient like one of those old “paint by numbers” things.  In case you are wondering, I took the below picture before I started to use it because this kind of make up always looks the prettiest when you first open it.  I finish my face with the Laura Mercier setting powder before moving onto my lips and eyes.

I bought Charlotte Tilbury’s lipstick in the Kim K.W color, which is a lovely nude shade.  The texture is great for a matte lipstick, but I would recommend using an oil on your lips as a base, like the Farsali Rose Gold Elixir oil.  The oil helps keep the lipstick from settling in the creases of your lips.  I use the MAC lip pencil (in the Stripdown color).  I’ve been using this lip pencil since last year and still love it (pictured here).

My eye lash routine has not changed, so if you’re interested to see what products that I use, then check out this post.

Phew, that was a lot of information.  If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.

In case you are wondering, I’m not getting paid (or even any free samples) by any of the brands mentioned in this post.  I have to use my own money and I’m just sharing what I love.  Also, as with any beauty product that I share with you, I’ve tested it for at least a month to make sure that I’ve got a good grasp on what I’m recommending to you, but of course, your mileage may vary.  🙂
