Happy Wednesday! I woke up to 24 degrees F today. 24!? That’s definitely not normal for CT in April. As I anxiously await warmer temperatures, I thought I’d share some of my favorite things.
Military jacket. I never get tired of a military jacket. I’ve even mentioned it as one of my favorites back in 2016 and 2015. I would have mentioned it last year too but for some reason I didn’t post a fashion favorite list year. It’s been on a trend for years and I don’t see it going out of style. My current jacket is three years old and I still love it. You can find one to fit your budget. Plus, it’s so versatile. Sometimes I’ll wear it with a dress and espadrilles and other times with jeans, white shirt and sneakers.
Wedges. I love, love, love wedges so I’m glad to see that they’re on trend again this Spring and Summer. I bought these Treasure & bond wedges and I can’t wait to wear them. I will wear them with dresses, jeans, and shorts.
Espadrille sneakers. How fun is an espadrille and a sneaker all in one? I recently bought these Steve Madden espadrille sneakers and they are so comfy and cute. I won’t lie, they’re also fabulous because they give us short gals some height. 😉 I wore them with jeans and a white shirt. When it gets warmer I plan to wear them with a black casual dress and a jean jacket.
Hair mask. My hair has been extremely fussy lately. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m getting older and my hair is changing or it’s because we’ve had a dry winter. Yes, let’s go with the later reason. 😉 Over the past year I’ve been on the hunt for a good hair mask and I’ve tried three or four products. This Moroccanoil hair mask is by far my favorite and the one that I’m currently using. My hair looks less frizzy and feels softer.
