Easy Fall Kitchen Decor

Do you like to decorate your kitchen for a season or a holiday?  In general, I don’t like a lot of things on my kitchen counters, but I will add a few seasonal touches here and there.  Last month I found so many great items that I thought I’d do an overhaul and show you what my kitchen looks like for Fall.

I bought the two white pumpkin pots from the Home Goods store to put one on each side of the stove.  I also bought the vase, small pedestal, and faux hydrangea at the same time, which will be great to use all year long.

The apples are fake.  I bought them from Pottery Barn a few years ago.  I can’t tell you how many people go to grab one thinking that they are real to eat.

I love the movie Hocus Pocus (the only Halloween movie that I must watch every year) and I really love coffee so I might have freaked out a little bit when I found this sign at my local Michaels store.

I don’t always keep the kitchen table decorated but I was inspired to make it pretty because of new place mats and dishes that I bought from Target.  Initially I fell in love with a set of place mats from Etsy but I didn’t buy them because I thought that they were too expensive.  I turned to the internet (seriously, what did we do before the internet?) to try to find similar ones for a cheaper price and found these adorable ones which were a third of the price.  Score.

I also recently bought the white pitcher and bowl from the Home Goods store.  They’re not necessarily “Fall decorations” but with the pumpkins and fall colored hydrangea it all works for a cozy nook.  You may see these fun new purchases make an appearance again but with a Christmas theme.

How cute are these genuine mini white pumpkins?!  These are my favorite Fall decoration.  I’ve placed them all over the house.  I came home one day with a big bag of them from Trader Joe’s.  I bought more than I thought that I would need but I wish I had bought even more.  Can one ever have enough mini pumpkins?  My husband has just piped in with a resounding “Yup.”

I hope you enjoyed touring my kitchen for the Fall season.  🙂

In my opinion, you can’t have enough of those cute little pumpkins. I’d go crazy with them, also. Hocus Pocus is a family favorite in our home. I love all your fall touches.
