Fall Sugar Cookies

Hi guys! Life has been busy lately, but it’s all good. Plus, after almost 10 years of blogging, it’s hard to find new recipes that I think are worth sharing with you. If you know me, then you know I’m in full cookie baking mode for the holidays and watching my Hallmark channel Christmas movies. Cookies are my thing and I’ve got an awesome recipe for you just in time for Thanksgiving. Actually, I’ve shared this sugar cookie recipe with you before, but it’s worth sharing it again because it’s the only roll out sugar cookie recipe that I’ll ever …

Banana Chocolate Chip Oaties

All you need is 5 ingredients and 25 minutes for these cookies. Ready, set, and go. These aren’t your usual cookies, well, not my usual cookies. There is no added sugar (not counting the chocolate chips), no flour, no eggs, and no added fat like butter or oil. So what’s in them? Bananas, oats, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and chocolate chips. I was interested in trying this recipe because they sounded “healthy.” I don’t use that term loosely anymore because my husband clued me into how a lot of people misuse the term by making things that are exactly as bad …

Jam Sandwich Cookies

I’ve got one more cookie recipe for you for 2021. I love, love, love these sugar cookies. I’ve made them several times over the past few years in different sizes and shapes. They are the most delicious quintessential roll out sugar cookie. Plus, they never spread! I wanted to kick these sugar cookies up a …

Chocolate Kiss Cookies

Every Christmas cookie box deserves at least one chocolate cookie and these beauties are it this year. If you like chocolate then you’ll love these cookies. They are a soft chocolate cookie with a chocolate candy on top. I mean, I have no words. It’s simply chocolate heaven. The nonpareil sprinkles give them a fun festive touch. They are all dressed up for Christmas but you can obviously switch it up for whatever the holiday or occasion calls for. I’m actually not a fan of sprinkles so I made some cookies without them. They aren’t quite as pretty but that’s …

How to Mail Cookies

Baking cookies for the holidays is my thing. I love to hand out a box of assorted cookies to family and friends. I always ask them which one is their favorite, but most of the time they can’t (or won’t?) choose. Even though we weren’t able to visit with loved ones last year I was not going to let that stop me from keeping my holiday cookie tradition. So with the help of my husband, we mailed our holiday cookie boxes. It was the first time I had ever done that and I wasn’t sure what to expect. Aside from …
