Happy Thanksgiving! Last year I shared a list of some of my favorite things that I can’t live without in the kitchen.  This year I thought I’d share a list of great gift ideas, outside the kitchen arena.  Grab some coffee… are you ready? It’s candy season. I have one word for you.  Eggnog. Yes, I’m going there… already.  A couple of weeks ago I was standing on line at Starbucks and saw that they have an eggnog latte on their menu.  I’ve made an Eggnog Frappuccino before… which is to die for, but I’d never made a hot version until now.  After seeing how easy it was to make a pumpkin spice latte at home, I knew that I had to give the eggnog version a try. Chocolate Pecan Bars

If you bake one thing for the holidays it MUST be these bars. Seriously guys, these bars are freaking amazing.  You should make these for Thanksgiving dessert next week.  You know, because it’s the holiday where  you fill up a huge table full of everything that you could possibly make.  (Holy crap I can’t believe next week is Thanksgiving.)
