My neighbors’ daughter recently found out that she has to follow a gluten-free diet for health reasons. I’ve never baked gluten-free desserts before so she has inspired me to expand my horizons. I have a tall order to fill to impress an amazing 8 year old girl! These peanut butter chocolate chip cookies are really the quintessential representation of chocolate and peanut butter but in a gluten-free and flour-free way! Vegetable Barley Soup
What do you cook for a crowd of friends who are vegetarians and allergic to garlic? Lol. I wish that was a joke. I could have slathered it with a tasty icing of some sort or used some sweet chocolate chips in it. Trust me, with my sweet tooth I was ready to do just that but I decided to keep it simple and classic today. 🙂 Classic and easy are two great words to describe this banana bread recipe. There are few ingredients in this recipe and …
Easter Tablescape

The delicate eyelet lace table runner creates a soft backdrop for my tablescape. Table runners can be a good tool to help you get a sense of where things can be placed on the table. I used a variety of hurricane glasses (mercury glass and clear glass) and tall chunky candles which run down the table. Using objects of different heights creates …
