Christmas Drop Sugar Cookies

Merry Christmas! I had one last Christmas cookie to share with you and I thought it would be appropriate to share it on Christmas day. Many of you will have fewer family members hanging out with you for the holidays and a new cookie might be something fun to make with the ones you have. These are not just any ordinary sugar cookie. You don’t have to roll out these sugar cookies into shapes. Plus, traditional sugar cookies are crispy, but these sugar cookies are soft. It’s thanks to the little bit of cream cheese, that gives them that pillowy …

Kourabiedes – Greek Christmas Butter Cookies (Without Nuts)

Happy Christmas Eve eve! (Yes, that’s a thing, at least in my family.) I made kourabiedes last Christmas, which are a traditional Greek cookie usually served at Christmas time. They are like a shortbread cookie with almonds and covered in confectioners sugar. Chocolate Chunk Peanut Butter Blondies

I always include at least one peanut butter and chocolate cookie in my holiday cookie boxes because it’s a delicious flavor combo. How much do I love peanut butter and chocolate? It’s that time of year! Cookies 24/7. I love baking cookies so I’m totally taking advantage of the holiday baking season and am baking up a storm. You know I mean business when our fridge consists of more cookie ingredients than “real food” ingredients. I’m starting off the holiday cookie season with these amazing cookies. I think we’re all familiar with the traditional gingerbread man cookies. But have you had white chocolate chip gingerbread cookies? If you’re a fan of the traditional gingerbread man cookie, then you must make these (especially if you don’t like all the fuss of rolling …

Christmas 2020

Merry Christmas! I usually start decorating our home during Thanksgiving week, but this year I started even earlier. Maybe right after Halloween? I started with a few pine cones and pine branches in the kitchen and assured my husband that I was only decorating for winter. In truth, that is how it started. I was inspired by this Santa and so I thought I’d go just go with the flow and move him here (and hope that maybe my husband wouldn’t notice Santa made an appearance mid November). Since our dining room has become puzzle central and we’re not entertaining …
