This is a quintessential Fall dinner. You only need 3 ingredients, a bag of coleslaw mix, sausage, and butter. (I’m not counting salt and pepper.) You can use whatever brand and flavor sausage you want, but I found that fully cooked sausages (chicken in my case) make it easier because you can slice them before you sear them. If you don’t get the fully cooked ones then that’s fine too but the meat inside the links will be raw and mushy so you’ll either get crumbled sausage or you’ll need to cook the whole link first before slicing them into …

Soft Pretzels
Homemade soft pretzels are awesome. Do you remember that I originally shared this recipe for soft pretzels back in 2014? I love them so much that I’m sharing them again. Yes, they are really worth highlighting again. Plus, I get to share the latest and greatest photos with you because my photography style has definitely changed in six years. However, this recipe has not changed because it’s still as great as it was back then. I want to give a big thank you to my husband because he made these pretzels. He’ll be the first to admit that these pretzels …
Cheese Beer Dip
Fall comfort food is in full swing in our home. When my husband found this recipe, we knew that we had to try it because it sounded amazing. I mean it’s hard to go wrong with cheese and beer. Guys, this stuff is seriously amazing. The flavor is mostly in the cheese and spices. I highly recommend pairing the cheese beer dip with some homemade soft pretzels. This reminded me and my husband of an appetizer that we shared on vacation last year at 3 Brasseurs in Montreal, Canada, which was amazing. We love being able to recreate great restaurant …
Cheesy Zucchini Chicken and Rice Bake
If you make one casserole this Fall, it’s got to be this one. Guys, I ate the leftovers of this three days in a row and enjoyed every bite. Three days! That says a lot about this dish because I only usually eat leftovers the next day. I get bored easily with leftovers. Or the texture of the leftovers changes to the point where it’s unappealing to me. My husband even nicknamed himself “the leftover vacuum” because he’s usually the one who gets stuck eating all the leftovers. However, this cheesy zucchini chicken and rice bake is the exception and …
Cheese Board for Two
This is not a recipe. Grab your favorite cheese, crackers, bread, and seasonal fruit and voila. Voila, you have a cheese board. My husband asked me if people needed a recipe for a cheese board. I doubt it. Instead, I’m focusing on the idea. We’ve seen charcuterie boards, cheese boards, and even cookie boards for a crowd, but have you thought about doing one for you and your loved one? If yes, then great minds think alike. If not, then you’re welcome. With everything going on in the world, we aren’t entertaining and we aren’t eating out. However, we can …
