I decorated most of our home with a traditional red holiday color this year, but I did something completely different in our master bedroom. I used a neutral palette for Christmas. That may not be a thing, but I’m making it a thing, so there. 🙂 This is our everyday bedding (duvet and shams). To add a touch of the holidays, I bought this ‘Merry’ pillow from TJMaxx. I really did not need another pillow to add the pile that I already have, but I couldn’t resist the white velvet and silver beads. In fact, this pillow was the inspiration for …

Dark Chocolate Tart with Biscoff Cookie Crust
Guys, I’m so obsessed with this tart and I know that you will be too! I only make a cake or pie when I know that I have a crowd to serve it to. My husband and I would happily devour it ourselves, but our waistlines would not like that. So when the holiday hosting season kicks in, I’m excited to try some new desserts. There’s something special about sharing our home when it’s decorated for Christmas. I thought I’d share with you how I prepare for hosting a dinner party. Holiday Dinner. I choose a different menu for every party …
10 Favorite Holiday Cookie Recipes
Christmas is in full swing in our house. I’ve been watching holiday movies since October 27 (because that’s when the Hallmark Channel starts their Countdown to Christmas) and listening to Christmas music whenever I can. I started decorating the house a couple of weeks ago and now I’m just adding a few finishing touches. I’ve been to the Michael’s store more times in the past two weeks than I have all year. I do seem to be falling behind in my cookie baking though. Usually by this time I have at least a couple of batches of cookies baked and …
