2015 Holiday Gift Guide

Last year I shared a list of some of my favorite things that I can’t live without in the kitchen.  This year I thought I’d share a list of great gift ideas, outside the kitchen arena.  Grab some coffee… are you ready?

For the homebody.  My parents used to buy me slippers every year for Christmas.  Then about two years ago my husband bought me these Ugg Australia slippers.  I wear them all year long.  Seriously, even if it’s 90 degrees out, I’m still sporting them in the house.  They are a bit pricey for slippers, but they are mad comfy and still in good condition so I don’t need new slippers every year.  Ugg Australia sells a variety of styles in different price ranges.

For the coffee lover.  My husband and I bought this Nespresso espresso machine one last year and we adore it.  Nespresso sells a variety of machines, accessories, and espresso pods which is pretty cool because you can pick what you want to fit your price range.

For those who love receiving a new perfume scent.  Jo Malone puts out a variety of scents and I don’t think that you can go wrong with what to pick for someone because they all smell amazing.  I don’t have any in my collection (yet).  Partially because they are on the expensive side and partially because I can never decide which scent to get.

For the organized.  I’m a super organized person and I MUST buy a calendar every year.  I’m old school so I like the paper version.  I haven’t decided which one to buy yet, but I’ve been eyeing this chic one from Kate Spade.

For a secret Santa or stocking stuffer.  Do you need an idea for a secret Santa?  How about something under $10?  These gold personalized mugs from Anthropolgie are super cool.  These obviously only work if you know who you are buying for.

For the fashionista.  A scarf is always a good idea because I don’t think that you can ever have too many.  Plus, you can always find one to fit your price range.  I love this one from Forever 21 for only $11.90!  Or you can splurge and buy a cashmere one, like this one from JCrew.

For the beauty guru.  I was WAY overdue for a new hair blow dryer and just bought this one from T3.  It’s light and easy to use and would absolutely recommend it.  In fact, I loved the product so much that I bought T3’s curling iron and barrel.  I’m still experimenting with it, but I love that it heats up fast and creates curls or waves (depending on the barrel that you use) in very little time.

For the cook.  Check out my list from last year.  I still recommend every single item.

For the traveler.  How cute is this bag to hold your charger?  I typically just use a zip lock bag but this is WAY more stylish and it’s only $10!

For the annual Christmas ornament lover.  Ornaments can be fun.  You might buy one on your vacation or get a new one every Christmas to build a tree of many memories.  Many charitable foundations sell ornaments this time of the year, like St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.   They are selling these ornaments.
