Tsoureki – Greek Easter Bread

Greek Easter time is when all my favorite Greek goodies come out. Last week I shared my favorite cookie of all time, koulourakia, Greek Easter cookies. This week, it’s all about tsoureki, Greek Easter bread. As with all the bread recipes on my blog, my husband made this bread. In fact, it’s his own recipe. Koulourakia – Greek Easter Cookies

These are literally my favorite cookies of all time. All time. Koulourakia are a traditional cookie served at Easter time. There are a bunch of different recipes for this cookie, but basically it’s like a butter cookie. Maybe that’s not quite right. You can’t really explain these I think, you just have to try them I think. They are not sweet. You shape them into a variety of fun designs, like “S” shapes, twists, or swirls. Peanut Butter Muddy Buddies
