Raspberry Vanilla Smoothie

I’m looking for a low maintenance day.  You know, the kind of day where you could make relaxation into a sport?  I know just the way to start it off.  An easy healthy smoothie for breakfast, like this one. This refreshing smoothie is a great way to enjoy raspberries which are my favorite berries. Raspberry Vanilla Smoothie Recipe (2 servings) Ingredients: 1/2 cup vanilla Greek yogurt 1 cup raspberries, frozen 1/2 of an apple 2 teaspoons honey 2 cups ice Directions: Add all of the ingredients into a blender and blend them until the mixture is smooth.   Adapted from: Giada De Laurentiis …

Flourless Chocolate And Peanut Butter Fudgy Brownies

It’s Friday AND a long weekend for the Memorial Day holiday so we should celebrate with, what else, food.  How about some brownies?  They are a crowd pleaser and easy to make.  Oh yes, they will do just fine.  I’ve got a couple of kick butt recipes already, but these are different from what I’ve done.  These brownies are gluten-free! I’ve laid a big …

The quinoa is accompanied by a medley of asparagus and peas and is covered in a lemon dressing. Asparagus And Peas Medley Recipe (About 4 servings) Ingredients for the Dressing and Topping: 1 to 2 fresh lemons (the goal is 1/4 cup lemon juice and the zest of 1 lemon) 1/4 cup olive oil 1/8 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon …

Peanut Butter And Raspberry Mousse Shots

Have you ever felt excited all day in anticipation for dessert?  Anyone?  Please tell me that I’m not the only one.  I blame this mousse dessert.  I made it the other day and I fell in love with it the moment it hit my lips.  Yes, you can fall in love with food!  Simply put, it’s crazy delicious.  Miraculously, I managed to not eat it all in one day which meant the leftovers drove me bonkers for days!  It was all I could think about.  Yes, they are that good. This peanut butter and raspberry mousse combo is like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich in …
