The #1 new year’s resolution is to get more healthy. I guess I’m in good company because that’s my new year’s resolution too, again. I seem to have this resolution several times during the entire year so I’m not sure if that’s truly a “new year’s” resolution except that it happens to coincide with the first day of the year. I’m not usually one for making resolutions. Happy New Year! I’m back to my normal eating habits, which means that my holiday cookie diet is over. It’s a shame because a cookie diet is the only diet that I seem to be able to stick with. 😉 I could never give up sweets because I love them so much, so I’m all about moderation. Individual Upside Down Ziti

This is one of the coolest meals I’ve ever made. I saw this idea on Instagram months ago and I’ve been dying to try my own version of it. Picture a traditional baked ziti, except here the ingredients are stacked in reverse order and you place a serving plate upside down over a ramekin and turn the plate and ramekin over. I love holiday traditions. There is something about the holidays that brings out so many family traditions. I love to reminisce with my family about some of the traditions that we had when I was a kid. Just the other day I was talking to my parents about how we always started Christmas morning.
