Hello gorgeous dessert. Peppermint Chip Chocolate Cookies

I love peppermint candies, chocolates, and assorted treats. There is something festive and comforting about eating peppermint around Christmas time.  Who else loves this stuff?  I think it’s one of those things that you either love or hate. Do you remember the candy cane chocolate sticks that I mentioned last week?  I have some leftovers sitting at my hot cocoa station in the kitchen.  I really should use them but they look so pretty that I don’t want to ruin the look.  (Typical T.) Master Bedroom Decorated For Christmas

I decorated most of our home with a traditional red holiday color this year, but I did something completely different in our master bedroom.  I used a neutral palette for Christmas.  That may not be a thing, but I’m making it a thing, so there.  🙂 This is our everyday bedding (duvet and shams).  To add a touch of the holidays, I bought this ‘Merry’ pillow from TJMaxx.  I really did not need another pillow to add the pile that I already have, but I couldn’t resist the white velvet and silver beads.  In fact, this pillow was the inspiration for …

Guys, I’m so obsessed with this tart and I know that you will be too! Christmas 2017

It’s the most wonderful time of the year!  I love the spirit, the traditions, the lights, the decorations, and especially the Christmas tree.  Every year I start to decorate our home during Thanksgiving week.  I like to have the decorations up early to get into holiday spirit.  (Come January 2nd I’m ready to put everything away though.) For the entryway, I used a mixture of faux and live wreaths.
