Kourabiedes – Greek Christmas Butter Cookies (Without Nuts)

Happy Christmas Eve eve! (Yes, that’s a thing, at least in my family.) I made kourabiedes last Christmas, which are a traditional Greek cookie usually served at Christmas time. They are like a shortbread cookie with almonds and covered in confectioners sugar. This year I wanted to make a version of them without nuts for my family members who can’t eat nuts, so that’s what I’m sharing with you today. The recipe requires only 4 ingredients but it can be a little finicky to make. It took me a couple of tries to get the recipe just right. I have …

Chocolate Chunk Peanut Butter Blondies

I always include at least one peanut butter and chocolate cookie in my holiday cookie boxes because it’s a delicious flavor combo. How much do I love peanut butter and chocolate? Let me count the ways… chocolate peanut butter surprise cookies, peanut butter chocolate cup cookies, peanut butter blossoms, and peanut butter cup cookies. Phew, that’s quite a list that I’ve got going on my blog and to be honest I’m sure there are more that I’m not remembering. Deep Dish Cookie Bowls for Two

This is heaven in a cup, for two. Picture a chocolate chip cookie straight from the oven, except it’s cooked in a bowl and it’s got a gooey center and that’s what you have here. If you like chocolate chip cookies or chocolate or ice cream with cookies then you’ll love these. I made these cookie bowls for two reasons. One, there aren’t many ingredients, and the amount you need of each isn’t a lot. Two, my husband loves chocolate chip cookies (he says they are his favorite cookie) so I thought he’d love this variation. Okay maybe there is …

In honor of such occasion, I’m sharing these fancy black and white cookies today. Every blogiversary post has something to do with chocolate so I’m continuing with the tradition. These are not just any ordinary black and white cookies. They are filled them with miniature chocolate chips. Excited? I know I am! The traditional black and white cookie originated from a NYC bakery and is an iconic cookie. These large cake-like cookies are coated with a thick …
