Christmas is less than one week away! Holy cow December is flying by. Here’s a peak into how I decorated my home for Christmas this year. I kept the entry way very simple and used faux garland and greenery to give it a winter feel. How to Throw a Bridal Brunch

My baby sister is getting married in less than 2 weeks! Cue the tears (happy tears, of course). A couple of weeks ago my sisters and I threw her bachelorette party. We started the day with a brunch at my house (I’ll get more to that in a moment). Then we went to The Hopkins Vineyard where we enjoyed a wine tasting. Last week I shared with you how I decorated our kitchen for Fall. Today I’m continuing the tour of our home to show you our cozy Fall family room. Spring Decor With Faux Flowers

It’s finally starting to feel like Spring outside, which is good because I’ve had the house ready for Spring since late February. I start that early for a couple of reasons. First and foremost, I’m very eager for more light and warmer temperatures come late February into early March so I figure if I bring Spring inside then maybe I’ll start feeling like it really is Spring (even when we have 10 inches of snow). It’s the most wonderful time of the year! I love the spirit, the traditions, the lights, the decorations, and especially the Christmas tree. Every year I start to decorate our home during Thanksgiving week. I like to have the decorations up early to get into holiday spirit. (Come January 2nd I’m ready to put everything away though.) For the entryway, I used a mixture of faux and live wreaths. I love the look of a simple live wreath with beautiful ribbon.
