Christmas starts early in our home. It’s tradition for us to get our tree on the weekend immediately after Thanksgiving. My husband strings the lights on the tree and I decorate it with the ornaments. Don’t you love my husband’s game ornaments next to elegant ones? 😉 It takes me most of the day to decorate the tree. As soon as the weather turns cool and crisp in September I decorate my home to welcome autumn, my favorite time of year. Springtime Mantel

It feels like spring is finally here! It’s about that time to update my mantel decor and I decided to go with a rustic springtime look. I wanted to keep everything simple and clean and use objects that remind me of spring. Flowers are a wonderful reminder that spring has sprung! I’ve always wanted a fireplace and I finally have one in our family room! In the seven months that my husband and I have lived here, I’ve changed the mantel décor probably four times so far.
