Chocolate seems to be left behind at Thanksgiving time. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all about eating pies. I love pies, but I thought I’d bake a chocolate dessert to make sure that we don’t forget about our beloved. 😉 How does chocolate pound cake sound to you? Picture a pound cake with a chocolate twist or a chocolate cake that’s more dense. Either way you look at it, you’ve got something seriously delicious going on. The thing that I love about pounds cakes (besides the fact that they are tasty) is that you can serve it in a bazillion …

Hummus and Pasta
Hummus with pasta because why not? Guys, this hummus is seriously the easiest and tastiest recipe that ever existed. Ever. Without fail, it always comes out delicious and it’s always a crowd pleaser. I’ve made it so many times over the past several years that I could probably make it in my sleep. In fact, I’ve made it twice in the past month. It’s definitely my go-to appetizer dip. Flourless Paleo Peanut Butter Chocolate Cookies
Guys, I have a chocolate cookie winner here. The other day I said that I won’t get suckered into decorating for Christmas yet. Although I still love ya if you are already decorating (cough, cough, mom 😉 ). I always decorate the weekend right after Thanksgiving day and that’s still the plan this year. However, I will admit that I’m already watching Christmas movies. The Hallmark Channel started their Countdown to Christmas the weekend before Halloween …
Buddha Bowl
What’s a Buddha bowl? A few months ago, my baby sister and I spent the day shopping and we ate at The Granola Bar. I ordered, what they call, a Buddha bowl. It’s warm quinoa topped with an egg and a side of sautéed kale and mushrooms, fresh sliced tomatoes, and avocado. It was fantastically delicious. Of course the food blogger in me wanted to re-create the meal at home so this recipe is my version of it. Aside from the basic ingredients that I mentioned, I was left wondering how exactly did they make it all taste so darn good? What magical sauce did …
Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread
It’s officially pumpkin and apple season! I’m starting this Fall season with an oldie but goodie recipe… with a little twist. A couple of years ago I shared a pumpkin bread recipe with you. It’s full of those traditional Fall time spices and pumpkin flavor and is simply amazing. Last year I made pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. Do you see where I’m going with this? I needed to make my pumpkin bread with chocolate chips. Oh my goodness this pumpkin bread exceeded my expectations. I love the warm spices combined with the sweet chocolate. I have to admit that I thought …
