From time to time it comes up that I just don’t want to cook dinner (and even the lazy dinner secret of a bowl of cereal won’t do) my husband and I tend to order Chinese take out food.  It is possible to have it be healthy, and out in the sticks it’s one of the only easy choices.  Sweet and sour chicken is a classic dish on virtually all Chinese take out menus.  Today, I took this classic dish and made a version that doesn’t require any frying, breading, or driving! Kitchen Organization

Homemade Chipwich

When I was a kid my family and I used vacation in Lake George, NY.  For one week, almost every year, our life was all about miniature golf, pool time, and cheesy shops on the main drag down town.  We especially looked forward to visiting a bakery that sold chipwiches.  They were huge and delicious!  Sadly, the bakery closed a bunch of years back cutting off our supply.  No more chipwiches!  We were so disappointed.  It’s been about 10 years since that happened and we still talk about how we miss those infamous chipwiches.
