Every summer I make blueberry pie and this year it’s slightly different. Usually I make blueberry pie in the summer and bring it over to a friend or family’s home to enjoy. This way we get to enjoy some delicious pie and leave the leftovers with loved ones. It’s a win win. Crispy Feta With Chickpeas, Zucchini, and Orzo

I love zucchini season. There is so much you can do with zucchini. You can go sweet with zucchini bread or savory with zucchini ravioli. Lately I slice one up and pan fry the slices in a tiny bit of olive oil with salt and pepper. It’s simple, delicious and goes with just about any dinner I make. Frozen Margaritas

I’ve got the perfect cocktail to celebrate the beginning of summer. I am a wine or gin and tonic kind of girl. Margaritas? To be honest, it’s not really my drink of choice. Perhaps it’s because I’ve had some not so good versions. But I have three tips to make sure I (and you) have the best margarita (frozen or on the rocks) ever. Skillet Pork Chops

These pork chops are simple and delicious. I think the key to good pork chops is two fold. One, get the thick cut. I don’t feel that it matters if it has a bone or not. The thicker cut pieces are more juicy and tender, compared to the thin cut. Second, don’t overcook them. We use a Habor thermometer, identical to this one linked here. It takes all the guess work out of cooking it correctly, and it means you only have to poke the pork chop with a thermometer instead of slicing into it with a knife to confirm that …

I rarely post vegetable side dish recipes, but this one is worth sharing. We usually make the same one or two vegetables for dinner. Steamed broccoli is where its at.
