Christmas starts early in our home. It’s tradition for us to get our tree on the weekend immediately after Thanksgiving. As soon as the weather turns cool and crisp in September I decorate my home to welcome autumn, my favorite time of year. It feels like spring is finally here! It’s about that time to update my mantel decor and I decided to go with a rustic springtime look. I wanted to keep everything simple and clean and use objects that remind me of spring. Flowers are a wonderful reminder that spring has sprung! I’ve always wanted a fireplace and I finally have one in our family room! In the seven months that my husband and I have lived here, I’ve changed the mantel décor probably four times so far. I love switching it up and seeing what works best or changing it to match the season or holiday.
