Stuff I’m Into: 10 for $10

With Mother’s Day coming up I thought I’d do a roundup of some great low budget gift ideas. Each item is less than $10!  You could also buy a bunch of them and place them in a decorative basket for your mom.

1.  For anyone… Candles

Candles are always a good idea.  I’ve owed several scents from Bath and Body Works, including one of these mini candles.  I’m a huge fan of their candles because they actually smell the same when you burn them as when you smell them in the store.

2.  For the home decorator… Bud vases

I own three of these bud vases and I adore them.

3.  For the beauty lover… Nail polish

I use a bunch of nail polishes from a variety of brands, but I own many colors from OPI and Essie.  They are great brands and I’ve been a fan of them for years.  For the past couple of years I’ve also been buying colors by the brand Sinful Colors.  My local Stop & Shop grocery store sells them for $1.99!  You can’t beat that price, especially if you’re not sure if you will like the color.  I couldn’t find a link to them but found them for a few cents more here.

4.  Another for the beauty lover… Travel size mascara

Mascara and coffee…  I can’t go a day without either one of them.  I especially love this Urban Decay travel size mascara.  If you are interested in reading more about this mascara or mascaras in general then check out one of my latest blog posts here.

5.  For the baker… Bread Pan

I’ve recommended Fat Daddios’ aluminum pans a number of times before, but it’s worth mentioning again because ever since my husband started buying them for 100% of his bakeware needs, they became my favorite too.  They have an awesome selection and their prices are very reasonable.  Since I’ve started using them, I’ve literally thrown away all my other cookie sheets and, in fact, most of my other bakeware.  Check out these cute loaf pans.  There are five sizes to choose from and all five sizes are under $8.

6.  For the fashion guru… Lightweight Scarf

I love scarves, even in the Spring and Summer.  I like to have one with me when I go to a restaurant because it can be chilly.  This light weight pink one from Forever 21 is the perfect choice.

7.  For the traveler… A small organizing bag for cell phone charger

I’m the queen of organization so I was super excited when I found this cell phone charger pouch for traveling.  Sure, you can use a handy zip lock bag instead (and that’s what I do use), but how adorable is this pouch?  I think it’s a great gift idea for someone who is hard to buy for or doesn’t need anything because even people that don’t need anything need to be more organized.  (Says me.)

8.  For the jewelry lover..  Stud pearl earrings

You simply can’t go wrong with classic pearl stud earrings.  These stud pearl earrings are a great example of a faux pearl stud earring at a great price.  I own a variety of jewelry pieces (and other products) from Francesca’s and they are great quality for the price.

9.  To capture the moments… Picture Frame

I think that picture frames are always a great gift idea because you have a lot of styles and price points to choose from.  I especially like this blinged-out one from TJMaxx.

10.  For the hand bag lover…  Summer Clutch

I love a summer print clutch but I don’t want to spend a lot of money because I can only use it for a few months out of the year.  I actually found three that are under $10.  I couldn’t decide which one I loved the most so I linked all of them to give you options.  You can sport one with a palm tree, pineapples, or anchors.  They are super chic, fun, and such a great deal.

Have a lovely week!  Ciao!
