Coffee Crumb Cake

I’m sort of obsessed with crumb cakes. The cake, the crumbs, I love it all.  I’ve posted a number of crumb cake recipes on my blog and I’d probably have done more if I didn’t think that you might say “okay, enough crumb cakes already, T.”  So I try my best to space them out. I know that I told you that the NY style crumb cake is the best one ever.  I still stand by that statement.  However, when I saw the recipe for this crumb cake, I simply had to try it to see how it compared. Best… Crumb Cake… Ever

Here’s the third installment in my Best Ever series!  What’s it all about?  Click here to get the scoop. Today I’m sharing with you the, Best… Crumb Cake… Ever.  If you like big crumbs then this is the crumb cake to end all crumb cakes. I’ve made roughly a bazillion (roughly 😉 ) crumb cakes and coffee cakes.  Wait, can you really compare crumb cakes to coffee cakes?  They are similar but definitely different.  Which one is better?  I’m getting side tracked.  Let’s save that debate for another day.  For the purposes of today’s post it doesn’t really matter because this crumb cake trumps …

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Let’s be real.  Can there ever be too much chocolate cake?  I think not. OMG, I just realized that this looks like a ginormous doughnut!  Sweet.  But really, it’s a bundt cake.  I guess I’ve been in a bundt mood lately.  First with my Gingerbread Bundt Cakes and now this one. This cake is a chocoholic’s dream.  Seriously, I don’t think that it is humanly possible for me to have included more chocolate here.  You’ve got a chocolate cake, loaded with chocolate chips, topped with a rich chocolate ganache, and miniature chocolate chips sprinkled on top.  See, I told you …

Gingerbread Bundt Cakes

Holy cow, how is it December 22 already?  I’d better get my gingerbread groove on before the holiday season is over! Why is it that we only tend to eat gingerbread goodies during this time of the year?  I mean you can find the ingredients all year long.  Maybe it’s nostalgic to crave cinnamon, ginger, and allspice at Christmas time?  Or perhaps because it’s hard to find fresh fruit this time of the year (at least in the New England area) and that means we branch out to spices instead.  Whatever the reason is, I need my fill because I love …
