Holiday Entertaining

Happy Monday!  (Although, can it really be happy if it’s a Monday?  😉 )  I don’t usually post on Mondays but there is a whole lot of Christmas goodness going on and I have a lot to share with you. Hosting season has officially begun in our home.  Christmas is the time of year that we love to have all of our friends and family over.  There’s something special about sharing our home when it’s decorated for Christmas.  I thought I’d share with you how I prepare for hosting a dinner party. Entertaining for the Holidays

My husband and I host some dinner parties for family and friends during the holidays.  There’s something special about sharing our home when it’s decorated for Christmas.  I’ve recently shared with you how we decorated our bedroom, family room and foyer so now I’ll share the with you the room that we do most of our entertaining in. Home for the Holidays

Are you gearing up for the holidays?  I’ve been busy baking cookies (tons and tons), but I thought I’d pause for a moment to share what it looks like in our home for Christmas.  Some decorations are new and some are from last Christmas (or past years). The candle, books, gold bowl and picture frame are …

A Tina’s Chic Christmas

Christmas starts early in our home.  It’s tradition for us to get our tree on the weekend immediately after Thanksgiving.  My husband strings the lights on the tree and I decorate it with the ornaments.  Don’t you love my husband’s game ornaments next to elegant ones?  😉 It takes me most of the day to decorate the tree.  Every ornament has its spot.  I’m kinda finicky that way.  Which now that I think of it, may be why my husband doesn’t want to help. We host lots of holiday dinner parties.  It’s our thing.  This year I used red accents for the dinner …
