Dear Spring, I’m officially ready for you now that I’ve received these Jeffrey Campbell wedges. As soon as I received these pretty things last week I’ve been anxious to paint my toenails and sport some Spring fashion.
I will miss my over sized and chunky sweaters and scarves but check out what I’m craving for Spring.
Wedges. I see that wedges are on trend for this spring and summer, which is great because I love the look. (It doesn’t hurt that they help to add a little height. #shortgirlproblems). I bought these Marc Fischer wedges last summer and can’t wait to start wearing them again too.
White pants. I know some people say that it’s fashionably acceptable to wear white pants in the winter, but I just can’t do it. I’m still stuck on the “no white pants after Labor Day and before Memorial Day” rule. I don’t think that I can wait until the end of May so I might just bust out the white pants now. Do you think that it’s a fashion no-no to wear white pants before Memorial Day?
Embroidered handbags. How cute is this Steve by Steve Madden clutch? I’m obsessed with the embroidered work and I love the bright blue color.
Scallops. I don’t mean the seafood. 😉 I’ve seen a lot of new fashion and bathing suits with a scalloped edging detail. To name a couple, I love this Top Shop tee and these Sam Edelman flats.
Blush. I usually wear dark colors but when Spring comes rolling around I find that I want to wear lighter colors. Blush (or a pale pink) is one color that I’ve been really into lately. A couple of years ago I bought a pink tote bag. (Right now my youngest sister is borrowing it because she loves it too). This BP tote is similar to the one that I have and I love that it’s under $50.

Those shoes are too cute! I’m in the same boat especially after the last blizzard turned to ice yesterday I’m done with winter… Especially with the wedding around the corner haha. I’ve only been wearing my light blue wedges inside the house so far… Oh I love the pastel colors for spring (aside from the Easter ones). Mint and coral!

Lol… I’ve done the same lately and wear my sandals inside my home (with my pajamas…a great look 😉 ). It is a good way to test them out but I’m mostly just anxious to wear them outside. PS I’m still wearing booties in reality because CT is still in winter mode.

YES we are still in winter mode here too. Did you see the impending next storm? What a great April Fools’ joke… HAH especially since that’s when my Bachelorette is slated to happen.
