A Guide to Montreal, Canada

Hi guys! We recently came back from vacation and we had a wonderful time while we were healthy (more to come on that later). We went to Montreal and Quebec City in Quebec, Canada. I have so much to share with you so I’m going to split it up into two posts. (So stay tuned for part 2.) We started our adventure in Burlington, VT because it’s a good place to stop to break up the drive to Montreal. We’ve been to Burlington bunches of times, sometimes as the ultimate destination because we love it so much there. The foliage …

Deconstructed Stuffed Peppers

Do you ever take short cuts with high maintenance recipes? I did that today. My mom used to make stuffed peppers when I was a kid. If you’re not familiar with what a stuffed peppers meal is, it’s a hollowed out bell pepper stuffed with a rice and meat mixture. Especially Italian dishes. My …

Mmm brownies. If you’re new to my blog, then please meet my tried and true and best ever fudgy brownies.  I shared the recipe for the basic fudgy brownies back in 2013 and it’s on my short list of best ever recipes.  If you’re not new around here and have heard about them, then hang on tight, I’ve got a fun new twist on them today. I’ve been making the original fudgy brownie recipe for the past 15 years.  I don’t even remember how many times I’ve made them (that many).  I’ve been obsessed with them since the first time …
