5 Healthy and Easy Snacks

Lately I’ve been trying to focus on eating healthier. For me that means I eat smaller meals and snacks throughout the day.  I’m always looking for healthy snack ideas so I thought you might like to see what my favorites have been lately. Here are 5 healthy and easy snack ideas: Peanut Butter Sandwich. I don’t think that I can get tired of peanut butter on a slice of whole wheat bread.  In an attempt to reduce the sugar, I’ve recently tried Nature’s Promise Organic No-Stir Crunchy Peanut Butter Spread.  I can’t find a link for it online because it’s …

Chocolate Chip Cookies

What better way to celebrate Christmas in July but with cookies. The Hallmark channel is in full swing with showing their Christmas movies this week and you better believe that I’m watching as many of them as I can.  It’s not like I’ve seen them all at least 7 times each or anything.  😉  It’s definitely getting me in the mood for the holidays.  In fact, I almost bought marshmallows and hot cocoa.  I ended up not buying them because I figured one cup would satisfy the nostalgic craving and then I’d mindlessly consume the rest of the bag of …

Ragu With Pasta

Do you have a routine that you do before you go on vacation?  I do (and maybe that’s not surprising for those of you who know me). Routines are not a bad thing, but I probably take on more tasks than are necessary.  I’m sure when my husband, aka editor, reads this post he will shake his head because he knows that I’m crazy about my routines.  I like to start packing a few days before we leave and I iron everything, including my t-shirts.  That’s normal, right?  😉  I do laundry, including the bed sheets (the day before we …
