Christmas is less than one week away! Holy cow December is flying by. Here’s a peak into how I decorated my home for Christmas this year. I kept the entry way very simple and used faux garland and greenery to give it a winter feel. I’ve used live greenery before on the stair railing and it’s a royal pain in the tush and a total mess when I take it down. Oddly enough, this is one of those situations where the real stuff is crazy expensive, and the fake stuff is too, but the fake stuff has the advantage that …

A Cozy Fall Family Room
Last week I shared with you how I decorated our kitchen for Fall. Today I’m continuing the tour of our home to show you our cozy Fall family room. I’m all about being cozied up on the couch under blankets in pajamas and watching Hocus Pocus (which I’ve seen at least three times this season). And yes, for a change of technique, I’ve taken some of the pictures for this post with my phone. Sorry if they look a bit funny. 🙂 Candles are a great easy way to create a warm atmosphere. Easy Fall Kitchen Decor
Do you like to decorate your kitchen for a season or a holiday? In general, I don’t like a lot of things on my kitchen counters, but I will add a few seasonal touches here and there. I thought I’d share with you some ways that I’m getting ready for the season. Pumpkin Spice Latte. I think this is one of things that you either love or hate. I happen to love it. I’m one of those girls who will take a picture of her first Starbucks’ pumpkin spice latte and post it on social media. Cliche, I know, but did it really happen if I …
Spring Decor With Faux Flowers
It’s finally starting to feel like Spring outside, which is good because I’ve had the house ready for Spring since late February. I start that early for a couple of reasons. First and foremost, I’m very eager for more light and warmer temperatures come late February into early March so I figure if I bring Spring inside then maybe I’ll start feeling like it really is Spring (even when we have 10 inches of snow). Second, I’m a visual person so I usually have to rearrange things 2, 3 or 4 times before I’m happy with the way something looks. …
