Happy Monday! (Although, can it really be happy if it’s a Monday? 😉 ) I don’t usually post on Mondays but there is a whole lot of Christmas goodness going on and I have a lot to share with you. Hosting season has officially begun in our home. Christmas is the time of year that we love to have all of our friends and family over. There’s something special about sharing our home when it’s decorated for Christmas. I thought I’d share with you how I prepare for hosting a dinner party. Holiday Dinner. I choose a different menu for every party …

Craving Fall
Is it too early to talk about Fall stuff? If you think so, then we’ll politely part ways today and we’ll resume this conversation in a month. 🙂 If you think it’s totally cool to talk about Fall even though it’s still August, then we’ve just become BFFs and you should definitely read on. I’m looking forward to the Fall so I’m taking a slight detour from salads, ice cream, and all things having to do with summer. This post is sort of like sharing what Stuff I’m Into, except this it’s dedicated to all the things that I’m looking forward to for …
Blue and White
It’s all about the blues and whites, baby. My home looks quite different since the last time you saw it at Christmas time. After I put those decorations away I had a blank slate to welcome a fresh new look. A few weeks ago I saw the blue and white floral vase (pictured below) at Home Goods and I thought it was beautiful. The candle, books, gold bowl and picture frame are …
A Tina’s Chic Christmas

My husband strings the lights on the tree and I decorate it with the ornaments. Don’t you love my husband’s game ornaments next to elegant ones? 😉 It takes me most of the day to decorate the tree. Every ornament has its spot. I’m kinda finicky that way. Which now that I think of it, may be why my husband doesn’t want to help. We host lots of holiday dinner parties. It’s our thing. This year I used red accents for the dinner …
All Things Fall
As soon as the weather turns cool and crisp in September I decorate my home to welcome autumn, my favorite time of year. Not only do I love pumpkin goodies like my Pumpkin Bread, I also love to use them as decorations throughout my home. Well, you’ll see. How gorgeous is this antique candelabra? A family member gave it to me a few months ago and I adore it. I like to mix the old with new. I bought these mercury pumpkins at Pottery Barn. (I might be slightly addicted to that store and my husband points out that I’m probably also addicted to …
