My youngest sister is getting married this year. (Cue the tears.) She asked me what I thought she should include on her wedding registry. She’s just starting out so she’ll need some basic things, like mixing bowls. It’s finally starting to feel like Spring outside, which is good because I’ve had the house ready for Spring since late February. I start that early for a couple of reasons. First and foremost, I’m very eager for more light and warmer temperatures come late February into early March so I figure if I bring Spring inside then maybe I’ll start feeling like it really is Spring (even when we have 10 inches of snow). Cookies are always a good idea. If you read my blog you’ve probably heard me say that before. Last Sunday, I celebrated Greek Orthodox Easter. There was SO much food and it was all so delicious. Easter is my favorite holiday when it comes to food. My mom makes traditional Greek dishes like pastitsio, spanakopita, lamb, potatoes, and tzatziki. Happy Wednesday! I woke up to 24 degrees F today. 24!? That’s definitely not normal for CT in April. As I anxiously await warmer temperatures, I thought I’d share some of my favorite things.
