Howdy guys! Here’s some Stuff I’m Into lately. I might be suffering a bit of winter recipe drought here.
New Scarf. I didn’t own anything neon colored in my wardrobe, until now. I saw this scarf on Caitlyn from Southern Pearls & Curls and it spoke to me. Yes, I have a talking scarf. 😉 An awesome scarf can make a powerful style statement. A neon scarf makes that powerful statement in all capital letters. I’m looking forward to ditching my wool scarves and sporting this one.
Coffee. I’m so into Starbuck’s Skinny Vanilla Latte. Usually I order iced coffee, so this is a bit of a change for me. It’s so much fun to treat myself to coffee when I’m out and about. I wasn’t expecting to like this, at all. I figured the “skinny” version wouldn’t have the levels of sweetness or fat that I knew I liked in my lattes. Boy was I wrong, it’s delish.
Balm. My youngest sister and I spent Saturday shopping in Westport, CT. I’ve been a huge fan of L’Occitane for years, so we definitely had to stop by their store. They have a whole store?! How much fun is that? I love their Shea Butter Hand Cream. One of the sales associates followed us around explaining many of their products and gave us some samples. I’m not usually one for using a balm (or salespeople that follow you around), but their Shea Butter Apricot Solidarity Balm felt really good on my hands. Perhaps I was simply a sucker and caved in under the sales pressure. Hey, at least I didn’t cave and buy their expensive anti-wrinkle line (not yet, at least). This balm is only $6 and now I’m obsessed with it.
Organic Food. I’ve been researching a lot of recipes that use organic ingredients. I eat some organic foods when I see it’s available and it looks appealing. I wish I lived in an area where I had a lot of organic food options because I think I’d eat 100% organic. Then again I’d miss my cookies, ice cream, peppermint patties, etc… you get the idea, so I’m not sure I could go 100% organic. Maybe I just like the idea of going all organic? Perhaps I’m more into researching than actually consuming?
