Stuff I’m Into: Cozy Fall

I can’t believe October is right around the corner.  This is my absolute favorite time of the year. (Sorry if I’ve said that 100 times already. 🙂 )  I thought I’d share with you some ways that I’m getting all cozied up for the season.

Cashmere and Suede.  I finally splurged and treated myself to this Charter Club cashmere scarf!  This one can be used as a scarf or a shawl.  I’m pretty sure that I’ll be living in it this Fall and Winter.  I also love a classic pump, especially if it’s suede so these BCBGeneration pumps were a must have when I saw them.  They are so versatile.  Can you tell that I’m into the color gray?

Books and Blankets.  I love snuggling up on the couch under a blanket with a good book.  On our Quebec City vacation, I read The Obsession by Nora Roberts and I loved it.  It’s a romance and mystery (my favorite combo).  I love her books but this one is one of my favorites.  The next book on my list to read is The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins.  Has anyone read it?

An Easy Outfit to Recreate for Fall.  I’m all about cardigans and I just bought this boyfriend cardigan from Banana Republic in gray (surprise, surprise).  I need it in every color.  It’s that good.  You can wear a cardi in SO many ways but my favorite is to pair it with jeans, a tank, and comfy pair of booties.  It’s an easy and classy look that can be done with any budget.

Pumpkins and Pine Cones.  I keep the decor simple at home.  I have a bowl of cinnamon scented pine cones (that even came with obscenely large cinnamon sticks!) in our family room and a few mini pumpkins scattered around the kitchen and family room.  Of course no cozy room is complete without a candle or two.  I bought Leaves, Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin, Cranberry Woods, and Pumpkin Apple candle scents from Bath & Body Works.  I love, love, love them.

Have a happy Fall!  Ciao.
