Crumb Carrot Cake

As many of you may know, I’m half Greek and half Italian, and I was baptized Greek Orthodox.  Sometimes the Eastern Orthodox Easter falls on a different day than what my family calls the “American Easter.”  Do you know how confusing that was for me as a kid?  “Mom, why does the Easter bunny come at a different time for me?”  I actually don’t remember how she used to answer that. Zucchini Spice Bars With Spice Frosting

I haven’t baked with zucchini in years so I had a random desire to fix that.  Sometimes zucchini goodies can come out bland, but not these bars.  They are insanely delicious!  In fact, I brought them to my niece’s 1st birthday party, but secretly I didn’t want to share them. Pound Cake Recipe (Makes 12 to 16 servings) Ingredients: 4 cups all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1 pound (equivalent …

Maple Cake Recipe (Makes 16 servings) Ingredients for Cake: 2 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon coarse salt 1 cup (equivalent to 2 sticks) …
