Christmas Sundaes with Miniature Gingerbread Man Cookies

If you add a little gingerbread man cookie to a bowl of ice cream then it makes your sundae instantly cuter. I wanted a quick and easy dessert to serve at some of the holiday dinners that we host this season.  Ice cream sundaes are always a hit (not to mention easy), so I thought I’d make sundaes but with a Christmas twist.  After all, ice cream is acceptable even if it’s 15 degrees F. I think these sundaes are all about these miniature gingerbread man cookies, which is why I wanted to give them credit in the title of …

Chocolate M&M Cookies

This is the time of the year when my refrigerator is full of cookie ingredients. That sounds great until I go to make dinner and realize that I only have butter and eggs to work with. Womp, womp. (If you are sick of pie, then try to remember this post for next year.) I originally shared this pumpkin pie recipe with you back in 2013 (almost on the exact same day of that year). I’ve been making this pie every Thanksgiving (sometimes more than once a season) ever since my mother in law gave me the recipe. Needless to say, I could probably make it with my …

Chicken Tacos

I feel like I should be sharing a recipe that’s appropriate for the Thanksgiving Day holiday, but I’m going to be a rebel and share a taco recipe instead. Have you ever made a chicken taco?  Usually I think of beef in tacos, but I did recently make cauliflower tacos so I guess I have more options than I realized.  These chicken tacos are so delicious and I’ve been missing out. I’m picky with my chicken so you know this is the real deal delicious stuff. Guys, this chicken is awesome. Something I definitely never thought I’d say. The spices …
