Summer is practically here. I realized that every summer since I started this blog, I’ve posted about a refreshing beverage… one that I’m obsessed over. You know, the one that you pretty much drink every… single… day. This summer it’s cranberry and bubbles. Throw some lime in there and the refreshment levels are positively stratospheric.
Is this even a real recipe? It seems so simple that I feel like I’m cheating here. However, I never knew about this tasty concoction until I met my husband so that means there’s a chance you don’t know about it either. So this is a “recipe” to you if it’s new to you. By the way, I have no idea why I’m trying to justify sharing this with you. I post non-recipes sometimes. This is a drink that I love and I’m sharing it with you… there. How’s that?
Whip up a quick glass for yourself or a whole pitcher for a party. Seriously, aren’t you always looking for a drink at a party that’s not soda, alcohol, or water? This is the perfect answer.
What’s your drink of choice?
Cranberry Sparkler Recipe
(Makes as much as you want.)
- Cranberry Juice*
- (optional) Limes
- Pour in 1 part cranberry juice.
- Add 1 part seltzer.
- (optional) Squeeze some lime in.
* Cranberry Juice can be anything cranberry you like. Cran-Raspberry, Cran-Grape, Cranberry Juice Cocktail, etc.
** Seltzer can be almost anything bubbly, but I don’t recommend using sugary or diet sodas. Flavored seltzers work great, club soda is fine too.
