Chocolate Chunk Peanut Butter Blondies

I always include at least one peanut butter and chocolate cookie in my holiday cookie boxes because it’s a delicious flavor combo. How much do I love peanut butter and chocolate? Let me count the ways… chocolate peanut butter surprise cookies, peanut butter chocolate cup cookies, peanut butter blossoms, and peanut butter cup cookies. Phew, that’s quite a list that I’ve got going on my blog and to be honest I’m sure there are more that I’m not remembering. M&M Fudgy Brownies

Mmm brownies. If you’re new to my blog, then please meet my tried and true and best ever fudgy brownies.  I shared the recipe for the basic fudgy brownies back in 2013 and it’s on my short list of best ever recipes.  If you’re not new around here and have heard about them, then hang on tight, I’ve got a fun new twist on them today. 10 Favorite Holiday Cookie Recipes

Christmas is in full swing in our house.  I’ve been watching holiday movies since October 27 (because that’s when the Hallmark Channel starts their Countdown to Christmas) and listening to Christmas music whenever I can.  I started decorating the house a couple of weeks ago and now I’m just adding a few finishing touches.  I’ve been to the Michael’s store more times in the past two weeks than I have all year. I do seem to be falling behind in my cookie baking though.  Usually by this time I have at least a couple of batches of cookies baked and …

Sugar Cookie Bars

I love sugar cookies but I really dislike rolling them out. I’m too much of a perfectionist and I get very frustrated rolling out each cookie to be the same exact thickness.  I have this same complaint about gingerbread cookies too.  My solution is simply avoid cookies that involve this step. These sugar cookie bars are a perfectionist’s dream because there is essentially no perfection required.  I don’t have to fuss at all while making them.  In fact, not only are they easy (and stress free) to make, but you can whip them up quickly with minimal dishes to wash. …
