Gift Guide for the Baker

Are you done with your holiday shopping?  I’m almost done.  If you’re still looking for a gift idea for a baker or cook (including yourself) then I’ve got some great ideas for  you.  I own all of these products on a regular basis and recommend them. 1. Cookie scoops.  I’m a bit of a perfectionist, so when I proportion out the cookies in a batch a regular utensil (or my hands) simply won’t do.  A cookie scoop takes all the guess work out of dividing the batter.    I have the medium and small sizes and they give me perfectly uniform cookies.  …

Guest Bathroom Essentials

It’s the season of entertaining and hosting.  Last week I shared how I prepare our spare bedroom for our guests.  Today I’m sharing how I get my guest bathroom ready. 1. 5 Lunch Meal Prep Recipes

Are you looking for healthy lunch ideas?  Here’s what I’ve made for lunch recently. 1. Hummus, Greek salad and Naan.  As the summer days are ending, I’m trying to enjoy the fresh veggies as much as possible.  Tomatoes, cucumbers and feta cheese is one of my favorite savory combos of all time.  I made hummus to add a little protein to my lunch.  Thankfully hummus can be enjoyed 365 days (and believe me, I do). 2. Chicken Fajita.  This is a delicious dinner that turns into just as tasty leftovers for lunch the next day.  You can check out the original blog …
