Raspberry Cheesecake Brownie Pie

Guys, I’m obsessed with this dessert! This dessert is part pie, part brownie, part cheesecake, a touch of raspberry tart, and 100% heavenly. Yes, you really can get all of those delicious parts into one bite. I’ve always been a fan of the HGTV show, Fixer Upper. But lately, I’ve been slightly crazed for it, sort of binge watching it whenever I can. And by sort of, I mean that I’m totally watching it all the time. My husband likes the show but even he’s tired of seeing it on, and he’s not even actively watching it when it’s playing. …

Dark Chocolate Tart with Biscoff Cookie Crust

Guys, I’m so obsessed with this tart and I know that you will be too! I only make a cake or pie when I know that I have a crowd to serve it to.  My husband and I would happily devour it ourselves, but our waistlines would not like that.  So when the holiday hosting season kicks in, I’m excited to try some new desserts. Pumpkin Pie.  This pie is THE dessert for Thanksgiving.  …

Berry Crisp

Which is better, a berry pie or a berry crisp? My parents came over for dinner on Saturday and I wanted to make a lovely summer dessert.  I could have made blueberry or triple berry pie , because pies are yummy, but I wanted something easier and quicker.  That’s where this berry crisp came in. This crisp is all that you would expect in great crisp.  It has a crispy, sugary, buttery coating on top of a boat load of yummy fruit.  I used an assortment of berries today because they’re in season (i.e. cheap and delicious).  You can use …

Homemade Blueberry Pie

Every dessert table at a BBQ deserves a pie (or 2 or 3). I thought I’d make a blueberry pie for our family BBQ over the weekend because it is appropriately colored to match the red, white and blue theme for the Independence Day holiday.  I don’t always go out of my way to be matchy-matchy with a holiday, but I knew that I wanted to make something easy and I knew that I wanted it be pie so the decision sort of presented itself.  Plus, blueberries are in season so that was the icing on the cake, er, pie. …
