I recently stocked up on a couple of beauty products so I thought that this would be a great opportunity to share them with you (before the containers get dirty from my makeup covered fingers). I’ve also got a couple of new favorites. 🙂
Bare Essentials Well Rested Eye Brightener. I’ve been using this brightener for years. I use it under my eyes (obviously), but I also use it on my nose and around my lips. Take that face shadows.
Yves Saint Laurent Gloss in the color called Nude Carat. I just bought this new lip gloss last week and I’ve been wearing it every day. It’s an amazing nude gloss with a gold shimmer. I like to wear it alone for a more natural look but it’s also a great gloss to use on top of a matte lip color when you love the matte color but want it shiny. Oh and the applicator is awesome because it contours to your lip for an easy application. In hindsight I wish I had taken a picture of it. I’ll try to snap a shot and post on instagram and twitter for you guys.
Dior J’adore Eau de Parfum. I’m very picky about the perfumes that I wear so it’s not often that I buy a new one. If I’m being completely honest a fair part of my pickiness comes from the fact that my husband has an amazingly sensitive nose and I want to make sure he likes it too. This J’Adore is the latest one that I’ve added to my collection and I love it. I’m terrible at explaining what perfumes smell like but the description online says it’s a floral bouquet of Comoro Islands ylang-ylang, Damascus rose, and sambac jasmine.
MAC Eye Shadow in the color called Gleam. My youngest sister introduced me to this eye shadow about three years ago and it’s been my favorite eye shadow ever since. A few months ago I tried to buy a replacement and I thought that they didn’t sell my color anymore. Oh the horror. I used it sparingly and then I finally took it to the store to try and match it to the next closest color. Low and behold I found the same exact color. It’s a great neutral shade and has a very slight shimmer to it.
