Football Food Recipes

Welcome back football!  If you’re new to my blog then you may not know that I’m a fan of the game.  Yup, I like girly fashion stuff and football.  😉

With the season starting up this week, I thought that I would share some of my favorite food to eat on game days.  Because who doesn’t like pizza and snacks?  Of course, any one of these recipes can be enjoyed any time of the year, not just on a game day.  I’ve even included some never before seen photos.  🙂

Snack food is a must, and I love this Cowboy Caviar.  I could eat it by the spoonful.  My husband does.

These Spinach Pie Chicken Quesadillas are a Greek take on the traditional Mexican cheese quesadilla and they are always a crowd pleaser.

Not all game food has to be fat and greasy.  I love these Crispy Baked Chicken Fingers.  A great way to get in some protein without weighing you down.

These Crispy Baked Onion Rings are another healthier take of the fried version.  (Okay, I don’t own a fryer and I discovered a great way to make things seem fried.)

If you make one dip then it must be this amazing Pizza Dip.  It’s only missing the crust.

These Soft Pretzels are the bomb digity.  I recently told my husband that we have got to make these again soon because I’m craving them.  Homemade pretzels aren’t just possible, they are amazing.

Chili is the perfect meal to make ahead of time and serve up whenever the crowd gets hungry.

Give me pizza and beer and I’m a happy camper.  My husband created this Garlic Chicken Pizza combo and it’s a favorite of ours.

This Praline Pecan Crunch Snack Mix is addictive.  You’ve been warned.  😉

Of course there must be some dessert and these Fudgy Brownies are the perfect thing.  This recipe has been my go to brownie recipe for 10 to 15 years.  It’s so good there is no reason to try to find a better one and everyone asks for these.  That seems like a win to me.

Cookies are always a good idea and these Chocolate Chip Cookies are a classic.

Happy football eating and go Patriots!!
