Christmas starts early in our home. It’s tradition for us to get our tree on the weekend immediately after Thanksgiving. My husband strings the lights on the tree and I decorate it with the ornaments. Don’t you love my husband’s game ornaments next to elegant ones? 😉 It takes me most of the day to decorate the tree. As soon as the weather turns cool and crisp in September I decorate my home to welcome autumn, my favorite time of year. Every room needs an inspiration piece, that one item in a room that inspires you to decorate around it. For our guest bedroom, it was this French tapestry. This amazing tapestry was a recent gift to me. It was bought in an antique shop in France. I wonder who owned it before me? Fall is my favorite season for many reasons! I was married in October and in fact we’ll be celebrating our 5 year wedding anniversary next month.
