Funfetti Doughnuts

Sprinkles and doughnuts… is there a better way to start a Monday?  I think not. I’ve been chatting about our family trip that we took to Lake George, NY last weekend.  We have a specific morning ritual everyday.  My youngest sister and I start with iced coffee from Dunkin’ Donuts.  Then we all head to my parents’ motel room for breakfast.  Maybe someone will have a Cinnamon Roll, or a Sticky Bun, or both (yes, really), or a Strawberry Hand Pie, or Peach Blueberry Scones, or The Perfect Chocolate Chip Cookie, or you get the idea.  Yes, those are really some of the goodies I’ve bought …

Chocolate Chip Doughnuts

Today, I’m celebrating the 2nd blogiversary of Tina’s Chic Corner! Time flies by when you’re having fun.  Seriously, I have no idea how two years have gone by.  When I started this adventure I didn’t even know if I’d still be doing this gig for two weeks, let alone two years.  I wasn’t even sure about buying my domain name for more than the minimum of one year.  Here I am 316 posts later, with many new friends, learning a lot about food, photography, social media, and myself and I renewed my domain name for another four years.  I guess I …

Mini Powdered Doughnuts

Selfies.  Do you love or hate them?  Do you post selfies?  If yes, how many shots do you take before you pick the one that you actually post?  I’m not sure how I feel about them.  I’m not opposed to them, per say, but at the same time, I don’t find myself wanting to take pics of myself for the world to see.  Especially with the camera only as far away as my arm allows. These doughnut holes are full of great pumpkin spice flavor and covered with cinnamon powdered sugar. Pumpkin Doughnut Holes Recipe (Makes 34 doughnut …

German Chocolate Cake Doughnuts

I’m funny sometimes.  I had no problem spending $100 on a new pair of heels the other day, but I didn’t want to spend $9 on a doughnut pan.  I guess I have my priorities.     😉 I’ve seen so many wonderful doughnut recipes out there and I finally broke down and bought a doughnut pan so I could join in on the fun of creating my own doughnut flavor. Since these doughnuts are the first ones I’ve made, I wanted them to be memorable.  I think I nailed it with these German chocolate cake doughnuts.     🙂  These doughnuts  reflect the traditional flavors of a …
